Promoto Launches AI Ad Manager That Runs Google, Meta, and LinkedIn Campaigns for SMBs
Flat monthly fee starting at $49 covers campaign planning, launch, and nightly optimization across up to four ad networks.
https://www.promoto.io, an AI-managed paid advertising platform, is now generally available to small and mid-sized businesses that want to run paid campaigns on Google, Bing, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and LinkedIn without hiring an agency or learning ad-platform interfaces themselves. Starting at $49 per month, Promoto connects to a customer's existing ad accounts via OAuth, then plans, launches, and optimizes campaigns autonomously within guardrails the customer defines. Reddit support is scheduled for a future release. The platform targets the roughly $500–$10,000 monthly ad-spend tier where businesses are large enough to advertise but too small to justify a full-service agency retainer.
Pay-per-click advertising has a well-documented competency problem at the small-business level. Google's own data has long shown that most small advertisers leave significant performance on the table through poor keyword selection, weak negative keyword lists, and failure to pause underperforming ad variants. Agency management solves the skill gap but typically costs 10–20 percent of ad spend on top of media costs, making it prohibitive for businesses spending less than $5,000 per month. DIY tools lower the price but not the learning curve. Promoto is designed to fill that gap: the AI handles the technical work, while the business owner sets the budget ceiling, geography, and goal type, then approves campaigns before anything goes live.
When a new customer connects an ad account, Promoto's system scrapes the customer's website and passes the content to Anthropic's Claude API, which extracts a structured product profile. From that profile, the AI drafts full campaign plans: keyword sets and ad copy for Google Search; interest targeting, creative images, and ad copy for Meta; and B2B audience parameters, images, and copy for LinkedIn. The customer reviews the full plan in a dashboard and must explicitly approve before any campaign is launched. No ad spend is touched without that approval step.
After launch, a nightly optimizer runs against every live campaign. It prunes underperforming keywords, adds negatives derived from actual search-term reports to block irrelevant traffic, pauses losing ad variants, and drafts challenger variants to test against incumbents. Each action passes through a four-layer safety check before execution and is written to a permanent audit trail. Hard daily spend caps set by the customer cannot be overridden by the AI. A 30-day kill rule automatically pauses any ad variant that has not met performance thresholds within a month. Customers also receive a daily plain-English email summarizing what the AI did overnight and why.
The competitive field for AI ad management includes tools like Madgicx, Revealbot, and Albert, which generally require customers to already have configured campaigns and focus on optimization rather than full-cycle management. Promoto's differentiation is the end-to-end scope: website ingestion, campaign planning, copy and creative generation, customer approval, launch, and nightly optimization are handled in a single workflow. The platform also separates management fees from ad spend billing entirely — ad networks charge the customer's own payment method directly, and Promoto never touches or resells ad inventory.
"Most small businesses either waste money on ads they don't understand or give up on paid channels entirely because the learning curve is too steep," said the Owner/Founder, Promoto.io. "We built Promoto so the AI does the hard work and the business owner stays in control of the budget."
The platform is particularly suited to four customer profiles: solo authors promoting books or courses, small SaaS companies targeting niche B2B audiences, local service businesses running geo-targeted campaigns, and e-commerce operators managing product-level search and social ads. For a solo author, for example, Promoto can generate a Google Search campaign targeting readers of comparable titles and a Meta campaign targeting interest-based audiences, both from a single website scan. For a local HVAC company, the system can constrain campaigns to a defined radius, cap daily spend, and pause ads that generate calls outside service hours. Each use case benefits from the nightly optimizer's keyword pruning, which is the task most small advertisers skip entirely.
Promoto offers four tiers. The Free plan allows account connection and dashboard access but cannot launch campaigns. The Starter plan at $49 per month (or $490 per year) supports up to $500 in monthly ad spend across two networks. The Growth plan at $149 per month ($1,490 per year) raises the cap to $2,500 per month and unlocks all available networks. The Scale plan at $399 per month ($3,990 per year) covers up to $10,000 in monthly ad spend across all networks. Annual billing is priced at ten times the monthly rate, effectively providing two months at no charge. Ad spend is billed directly by Google, Meta, and LinkedIn to the payment method the customer has registered with each network; Promoto charges only the management fee via Stripe.
Reddit Ads support is on the near-term roadmap, with Microsoft Advertising (Bing), TikTok, and Amazon Advertising also planned for future releases. The addition of Microsoft Ads will extend search coverage to Bing's audience, which skews older and higher-income than Google's and is frequently overlooked by small advertisers. The roadmap reflects a broader strategy of adding networks as the AI's campaign-generation and optimization logic is validated on each platform's specific auction mechanics and targeting taxonomy. Customer data processed through the Claude API is not used to train Anthropic's models, per the API's contractual terms.
Promoto.io (https://www.promoto.io) is an AI-managed paid advertising platform built for small and mid-sized businesses spending between $500 and $10,000 per month on digital ads. The platform connects to Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn via OAuth, generates campaign plans from the customer's own website, and runs a nightly optimization loop that prunes keywords, pauses underperformers, and tests challenger variants — all within guardrails the customer sets. Management fees are charged separately from ad spend, which networks bill directly to the customer. Promoto is designed for business owners who want the results of professional ad management without an agency relationship or platform expertise.
