Strata 1.0.29 Mac Disk Cleaner Now Finds Build Output of Idle Developer Projects
A Mac disk cleaner from Kapybara LLC with a free 14-day trial; Pro is $9.99 one-time.
Kapybara LLC has released Strata 1.0.29, an update to its Mac disk cleaner that shows what is filling a Mac and clears it safely to the Trash.
Junk Files in version 1.0.29 now finds the build output of idle projects (Flutter, Rust, Swift, Gradle, CocoaPods, Python virtual environments, web frameworks and Unity), ticked only when nothing has changed for three months. It also finds simulators for iOS versions that are no longer installed, and lists Xcode archives, installers, virtual machines and games in their own groups, never ticked for the user. Every removal goes to the Trash first, with Put Back.
Strata requires macOS 13 or later and runs natively on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. It is an 11 MB download and takes 44 MB once installed. It can be downloaded at https://stratamaccleaner.com/download or installed with Homebrew: brew install --cask pankaj-kholiya/strata/strata
Pricing: every feature is free to try for 14 days, with up to 40 GB of removals, no account and no card. Strata Pro is a one-time purchase at $9.99.
About Kapybara LLC: Kapybara LLC is a bootstrapped company based in Dehradun, India. Strata is made by Pankaj Kholiya.
