Pooks.ai Closes to New Orders, Points Personalized-Book Readers to BookBud.ai and StarringMyKid.com

Pooks.ai (https://www.pooks.ai), a site from Archieboy Holdings, LLC that made personalized books with AI, has closed and no longer takes new orders. Its home page now points visitors to two sister sites from the same team that carry on that work: BookBud.ai, for people who want to write their own book with an AI writing partner, and StarringMyKid.com, for families who want an illustrated picture book starring a child.

The two sister sites take different paths from the same starting point. The Pooks.ai home page describes the choice simply: pick the one that fits the book you have in mind.

BookBud.ai is for people who want to be the author. Users plan, write and edit a full-length book with an AI writing partner, then design the cover and export publish-ready ebook files. The site says it is free to start, and its free accounts include 25,000 credits, which it describes as enough to get a book started, create a cover and generate the first few chapters.

StarringMyKid.com serves a different audience. A parent or relative uploads a photo, picks a story and gets an illustrated storybook with the child as the hero. The site shows the first eight illustrated pages free, with no credit card required. A finished book can be downloaded as an ebook, listened to as an audiobook, or ordered as a printed keepsake.

"Pooks made personalized books with AI. BookBud.ai and StarringMyKid.com carry on that work, so readers can pick the one that fits the book they have in mind," said Bo Bennett, Pooks.ai.

The Pooks.ai home page also lists PrivateChief, a personal AI chief of staff, as another product from the same team. Pricing and options beyond the free starting points are set by each site, and readers should check BookBud.ai and StarringMyKid.com directly for current terms.
