BoxWherever Lets Meta Quest Owners Box to Their Own Songs in Real-World 360° Scenes
The VR boxing app builds beat-locked rounds from songs players own, with a free 30-minute trial, then $19.99 once and no subscription
BoxWherever, a VR boxing app from Archieboy Holdings, LLC, is available on the Meta Horizon Store for Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S and Quest Pro. It lets players box to DRM-free songs they already own, set inside real-world 360-degree scenes where imagery is available, or inside a 360-degree photo they took themselves. The app, described at https://boxwherever.com, starts with a free 30-minute trial on the headset through Meta's Try Before You Buy. Players who keep it pay a one-time $19.99, with no subscription.
A private web Studio does the technical work: it analyzes a chosen song and builds a beat-locked workout that the player can adjust, from five intensity levels down to individual punches, blocks and ducks on a timeline, before putting the headset on. Five original songs and a guided training round are included, so a new user can start boxing before uploading any music. The app has no coaches and no voices over the music. The company says the goal is to give control of the workout back to the person wearing the headset.
