A Sermon Archive Is Often Already a Book: New Tool Builds It From the Pastor's Own Words, Not AI's
Concepts of a Book turns years of sermon files, transcripts and Bible-study notes into an editable chapter outline and a manuscript draft, and at its strictest settings adds no sentences of its own
As churches argue over whether pastors should use AI to write sermons, Concepts of a Book, a website of Archieboy Holdings, LLC of Marlborough, Massachusetts, is offering pastors a different use for the technology: turning the sermons they have already preached into a book. A pastor uploads years of sermon manuscripts, transcripts, conference talks and Bible-study notes, and the tool proposes a chapter outline built from the themes actually present in that material. The pastor edits and approves the outline before any manuscript is assembled, and the outline costs nothing.
The difference from an AI ghostwriter is where the words come from. Concepts of a Book does not write a book from a prompt. It works only from the files the author uploads, and the author chooses how much it may change them. At the strictest settings, Verbatim and None, it corrects spelling and grammar or simply arranges the pastor's material, adding no new prose. Lighter or fuller editing levels allow progressively more smoothing and short connecting passages between sections, and the author can mark any passage that must stay exactly as written, such as a Scripture reading or a well-known illustration.
Many pastors who preach weekly hold hundreds of sermons, often grouped in series that already follow a theme. The hard part of making a book from them is deciding what belongs together, what order it should go in, and how to keep the preacher's voice while shaping spoken material for readers. The tool offers "Sermons / Devotional" and "Christian / Faith-Based" as book types, typically proposes nine to twelve chapters, and lets the pastor rename, reorder, remove or add chapters before the build. The finished manuscript is a Word document meant for an editor, a designer or a publisher, not a finished book, and every build and revision is kept as a numbered version the pastor can go back to.
Anyone can upload files and see a full outline free, with no purchase. A paid project slot is used only when the author approves the outline and builds the manuscript. The one-time price is $49 for one book, $119 for three, and $349 for a Publisher 10-Pack that a church with several sermon series or a ministry with several authors can share, with no subscription.
